DescriptionLetter from the Duke of Newcastle to Queen Victoria reporting on the progress of the tour. He writes that the Prince of Wales visited Cathedrals of both the Church of England and Church of Rome, before proceeding to a regatta. He also encloses copies of a Newfoundland paper, providing an account of the proceedings so far and one of the Prince's answers to an address (see VIC/MAIN/Z/466/52). He also encloses copies of two other answers to addresses (see VIC/MAIN/Z/466/50-51) and reports that he has requested that the Governor forward copies of any papers which publish accounts of the tour to Her Majesty.
