DescriptionEnclosures attached to the previous letter from the Duke of Somerset (see VIC/MAIN/Z/466/4). The first is a list of ships suggested to transport the Prince of Wales on his tour of Canada. They are divided into ships, frigate, corvettes and yachts, and their name, horse power, draft and captain are recorded.
The second enclosure is a memorandum, written by a Hydrographer, regarding the dpeth of water up to Montreal.
