Copy letter from the Prince Consort to the Duke of Somerset acknowledging his previous letter and reporting that the Queen has chosen the 'Hero' to be the ship which the Prince of Wales will travel on, with the 'Ariadne' and 'Flying Fish' as escorts. Prince Albert also suggests the use of a large Canadian river steamer to travel up river.
