DescriptionLetter from Sir Henry Wheatley to Prince Albert reporting that he had received a letter from Lord Lyndhurst instructing him to open an account at Messrs Coutts for the use of the Trustees of the Duchy of Cornwall. However, Wheatley states that the bank have requested to see the warrant signed by Queen Victoria, granting the Trustees authority to open an account in the name of the Duchy, and asks if he may deliver the warrant to the bank himself. He also reports that Mrs Proctor has been appointed housekeeper at St James's Palace.
