WriterAlbert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Prince
DescriptionDraft letter from Prince Albert to unknown reporting that he is satisfied with Francis Baring's memorandum (see VIC/MAIN/Z/470/2) and that the matter should be referred to the Chancellor [of the Exchequer] immediately so that it can be settled before the Queen's confinement. He also suggests that the trustees be the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Lord Chancellor and either the Duke of Bedford, the Duke of Richmond or the Duke of Wellington. The Prince also suggests ways in which the account be managed.
