Letter from J.R. Gardiner to unknown explaining the status of the Crown Charters (Scotland) Bill. He reports that the clauses he suggested have been inserted and that the Bill might be allowed to pass as long as there was an entry in the Journals of the House 'to show that a Bill of this nature required the Prince's assent as well as the assent of the Crown'.
