Description
William asks that as [Admiral Augustus] Keppel had vacated the Walk and Bagshot [Park] Lodge if it were possible for his son [Prince William Frederick] to be appointed to it, irrespective of the fact that the Prince of Wales had been residing there for a year. He requested that a reply should be sent to 'au Comte de Connaught a Rome' where he would spend the winter.
