William states that he visited Carleton [Carlton] House to deliver George III's letter and papers to the Princess, but found her agitated and 'out of spirits'. The Princess informed him that [George] Prince of Wales had slept in town, and when William requested to see him he discovered that he had gone to Windsor. He also mentions that he will visit the Queens House [Buckingham House].
