Description
The Duke proposed going abroad, selling the King his house at St Leonard's Hill and the adjoining property once belonging to Mr Ainscomb, and requested that in light of his poor health provision be made for his family.
The King consented to his going abroad, but declined the purchase of property, and did not think it appropriate to apply to parliament for provision for [Maria] Duchess [of Gloucester].
