The Duke communicates the successful application of Lord Yarmouth to enter the local Militia, and of the promotion of other people within the Militia.
He will visit the Prince of Wales in Brighton very soon; his friend Wood [Colonel Thomas] of Littleton will go as well. He received news that ministers are preventing a visit of the Duke of York [Prince Frederick] to Spain.
