Description
The Duchess received the Duke's letter from William FitzRoy. The King [Louis XVIII] and his family have been warmingly welcomed back to their country. She sends, through, Lord FitzRoy, two couplets composed for the Duke to express the French people's recognition and attachment to the English country, the Prince Regent and the Duke of Clarence. She is particularly gratefull to the Prince Regent for his great hospitality [during the period of exile of the King of France and his family].
