Description
The Duke communicates that he has appointed his son Major [George?] FitzClarence as his Equerry, which will make him part of the family. If there are orders not to publish this appointment in the Gazette, he will have it published in the Morning and Evening Papers and in all the County Chronicles in Great Britain and Ireland.
He also asked Mr [Charles Hodges] Ware [private solicitor to the Duke] to inform the Vice Chancellor [Sir John Leach] that he will not give authorization to Lord Keith to act in the Duke's name when he is out of the country.
