The King is not feeling very well - gout, probably - so the Duke will wait for more news on the subject from Sir William Halford
The Duke of Cumberland [Ernest Augustus] visited Windsor the day before - a visit that the Duke of Clarence considers very inappropriate because of the King's indisposition.
The Duke expects Knighton to update him on the King's condition.
