Description
Following Lord Grey's direction to examine the state of the Representation [to find ways of improvement] the Committee of the Cabinet presents here three Bills amending the Representation of England, Scotland and Ireland. The main measures proposed by the Committee include: disenfranchisement or increase in the number of representatives in Parliament based on the amount of population in the boroughs considered; necessity of diminishing expenses of Elections; limiting the duration of Parliament to 5 years.
