Description
Lord Grey gives an account of the Duke of York's [Prince Frederick] administration [when Commander-in-Chief], that Lord Grey believes has generally been directed by a spirit of impartiality and attention to the service, but not always successful in carrying out its duties. He compares it with Lord Hill's [1st Viscount Hill] administration. He gives details about the divisions in the House of Lords. He mentions having had a conversation with Sir Hussey Vivian about the state of Ireland which is divided between Orangemen and O'Connellites.
