Description
William was glad to receive Barton's letter containing the information that the Prince Regent approved of William's ideas [concerning Lieutenant General Benjamin Bloomfield, 1st Baron Bloomfield?]. He hopes Princess [Caroline] of Denmark will behave with his daughters; William declares his unwillingness to marry [the King of Denmark had two daughters who, under Salic Law, were excluded from the succession to the throne. Caroline being the eldest one, she was being pressured into marrying soon and well. William was among the grooms suggested].
