Description
In answer to the letter brought by Marrable: the good news in that letter cheered William up after the sad news brought from the Duchess of Gloucester [Princess Mary]. He is glad the King is better and agrees with the addressee that the King 'is very alive to Charity'. William wishes the addressee to express William's affection for his brother and sends his best wishes for a speedy recovery.
