Thanking William for his last letter and the pin. She tells him about what the family have been doing in the past days. The only news is that [Princess] Amelia is 'coated' and that Lord Spencer [John Spencer, 1st Earl Spencer] is dead. She asks to send her best to Prince Charles [Charles II, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg] and to uncle Ernest [Duke Ernest Gottlob Albert of Mecklenburg].
