Description
William is with the Prince Regent who he says is pleased that Lord Mayo is moving to Carlton House.
William declares himself to be very attached to Ireland so that he is happy to know that the situation is quiet now. He blames, however, the Executive for letting 800 Jesuits in a Protestant Country or 'in one which by law ought to be protestant' [Ireland].
