William is forwarding a message from the Duke of York [Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany] concerning Lord Mayo's nephew: the Duke will soon place him in some regiment without requesting more money.
The Parliament will meet soon: he hopes a way will be found to tranquilize Ireland, thus avoiding a war.
