Despite their desire to see both Lord and Lady Mayo, William and the Duchess [Adelaide] understand that Lady Mayo wants to wait for the return of her sister to Devonshire. Lord [William George Hay, 18th Earl of Erroll] and Lady Erroll [Elizabeth Hay, Countess of Erroll, William's daughter] would both like to see the Mayos.
