Description
In the message to the King, Frederick thanks him for being godfather to Augusta. He reiterates his request to be forgiven.
In the message to the Queen, Frederick thanks her for being godmother to Augusta. He mentions the request of forgiveness forwarded to the King.
Two notes, at the bottom of each letter, written by the author of these copies inform us that the letter to the King did not receive any reply and the one to the Queen did not receive any direct reply.
