DescriptionThe Prince writes that the descendant of Madame de Mailly, the wife of Prince Emmanuel of Nassau-Siegen, is trying to re-open the case decided by the Aulic Court [of the Holy Roman Empire] in 1746 in favour of Prince William's father, and that the courts of France and Spain are taking the side of this so-called Prince of Nassau. Prince William asks George III, as Elector of Hanover and a member of the Empire, to intercede on his behalf in Vienna.
