The letter, in reply to one from George III evidently concerning their mother's health, refers to Pringle [possibly the royal physician Sir John Pringle] and to the arrival in France of the Duke of Cumberland and his wife; Princess Augusta comments that he will not be well received on the continent because of his marriage.
