Description | Lord Suffolk sends a draft of a letter he wrote to Lord North, as commanded by the King, and Lord North's reply. George III replies concerning the situation in Sweden and the possible provision of £15,000 to Sir John Goodricke, if it can "defeat the attempts of the King of Sweden". Otherwise, the Caps cannot expect assistance as they did little to counteract the "intrigues of the Court", despite timely warnings. |
