Description | Taylor states that, for Knighton's satisfaction, the account could be sent to Sir Andrew Barnard to certify the work was carried out under George IV's orders. He also mentions that William IV had authorised 'repairs and improvements' to the organ at St. George's, Windsor, for the sum of £210. The letter enclosed the organ builder Mr Bishop's bill [missing], and is annotated in pencil that the account was sent for certification on 21 [July 1835]. |
