The Duke rejoices in hearing that the King is recovering steadily even if slowly; it would have been better for him to spend time in bed, but the fact that he could see Don Miguel [Miguel I of Portugal] is positive: the Prince will leave England with a very favourable impression.
The new Government seems to be doing well.
