Admin HistoryCharles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, (1764-1845), also known as Viscount Howick in 1806 and 1807, was a Whig politician and British Prime Minister in the years 1830 to 1834, during the reign of William IV. As Prime Minister, 2nd Earl Grey was responsible for the Reform Act of 1832 and the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833.
